A: We accept bank transfers and deposits.
A: Yes. A refundable security deposit (bond) is required to secure your application. The amount is equivalent to two (2) weeks' rent and is lodged with the Residential Tenancy Authority (RTA) according to tenancy regulations in Queensland.
A: Rent is due weekly and must be paid on time to avoid breach of the Rooming Accommodation Agreement.
A: Yes, all our rooms, suitable for singles or couples, come fully furnished with essentials, including bed frame(s), mattress(es), mattress protector(s), pillows, pillow protectors, bedside tables, wardrobe, and storage space. Bathrooms, whether en-suite or private, are provided with a toothbrush holder, hand towel, mat, bin, and toilet brush. Cleaning products are not included.
A: Yes, the unit’s shared areas are generally fully equipped with a three-seat sofa, an occasional chair, a TV unit, a television, a Chromecast, a four-seat dining table, and outdoor furniture (specific inclusions may vary by unit). The laundry area is equipped with a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen includes all the necessary appliances, such as a fridge-freezer, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster/sandwich maker, kettle, cookware set, and all the utensils for cooking.
A: Guests are welcome but must follow the HOUSE RULES for Rooming Accommodation. Overnight guests are not allowed.
A: Pets are not allowed.

A: You should bring personal items like bedding and toiletries. Some properties might provide these items as an additional service. If you need any of them, please contact us through email at hello@wehostu.au.
A: Yes, a fee equivalent to one (1) week's rent plus GST will be charged to cover the costs of finding the new resident(s). If you decide to break your agreement, please notify us as early as possible. You will still be responsible for paying weekly rent until the new resident(s) take(s) over your agreement.
A: Yes, subject to availability. Please inform us as early as possible if you wish to extend your lease.
A: Residents must comply with the "Vacating Procedure" outlined in their Rooming Accommodation Agreement. Residents must vacate the unit/room by 2:00 PM on their scheduled move-out day. The overall condition of the unit, including the resident's room and bathroom, as well as the furniture and inventory, must match the entry condition report agreed upon.
A: If you follow our guidance on time, your refund will be processed in seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days. According to the RTA, refunds can only be paid into Australian bank accounts (no cheques).
